A vacancy has arisen for the post of On the Spot Sales Representative within Quintano Foods Ltd. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the selected candidate will increase the volume of sales of company products and build and maintain a positive business relationship with clients.
The selected candidate will be required to:
• With the Sales Manager develop a cycle-of calling on customers plan;
• Carry out sales and deliveries of Company’s chilled products as per plan;
• Seek to increase the number of customers within the assigned areas and customer categories;
• Issue delivery notes / invoices upon effecting the sales and delivery of goods to Customers as per company procedures;
• Collect cash sales and cash for invoices when payments are due;
• Reconcile with finance section and perform stock cycle accounts as per company procedure;
• Merchandise in store as required and ensure that fresh products have optimum stock / shelf rotation and reduce incidence of expired stock;
• Be responsible for stocks s/he carries on the route ensuring correct and timely stock replenishment, and stock movement accountability.
• Ensure upkeep of the truck in terms of sanitization, safety, quality and operations as per company procedures.
• Handle customer complaints and promptly keep management informed.
The selected candidate will:
• have a clean Malta Transport driving licence C1;
• possess a proven track record in distribution and / or sales;
• have excellent communication and organisation skills;
• be self-motivated; show initiative and capable to work independantly;
• be ICT literate
