As Prohealth continues to expand, the Company is looking to strengthen its Nestle team with the addition of a Nestle Point of Sale and Commercial Relations Manager.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated individual for building and maintaining effective business relationships between Nestle Health Science, its brands, and local key customers. This is done through planning, executing, and managing Nestle Health Science promotional activities, driving sales, enhancing brand visibility, and optimizing customer engagement within Pharmacy, Health and Nutrition stores, online sales channels, and other approved distribution channels in Malta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture effective business relationships with pharmacies and other retail channels, helping to identify new business opportunities within the field.
  • Together with the Nestle Medical Relations Manager (Malta), plan and execute promotional strategies and campaigns to increase sales and achieve business objectives, in line with Nestle Brand guidelines.
  • Strategize timing, duration, and messaging of promotional activities aligned with seasonal trends, product launches, or marketing initiatives.
  • Identify key accounts outside of pharmacies and develop specific plans tailored for each outlet.
  • Identify tender opportunities for Nestle Medical nutrition and work with the Pharma Tender Manager as well as Nestle’ to help secure business tenders.
  • Coordinate the development and placement of POS materials, promotional signage (window displays), and displays, through the POS team, to enhance product visibility and promotional effectiveness.
  • Plan and coordinate events such as product launches, Point of Sale (POS) training, seasonal events, and in-store promotions, to engage customers and drive sales.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Manager, event logistics including venue selection, staffing, materials, and budget, to ensure successful execution.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to align activation strategies with overall marketing campaigns and consumer brand messaging.
  • Collaborate with all the commercial team to enhance incentives for customers whilst creating synergies with other brands.
  • Monitor customer feedback/insights, analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as sales data, market data, conversion rates, and ROI of activation campaigns, and prepare reports and presentations, to continuously improve activation strategies and customer engagement tactics.
  • Develop and manage consumer loyalty schemes in close collaboration with the rest of the Commercial team.
  • Develop and manage POS activation budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and optimizing budget allocation, for maximum return.
  • Continuously analyse competitors’ retail strategies and update files that include commercial strategies, pricing structure, and new competing brands/products.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and brand guidelines related to any in-store activations or marketing activities.
  • Any other task as assigned by the Head of Commercial Strategy.

The Candidate must have:

  • A university degree in pharmacy, health science, business, medicine, or any other related specialty will be beneficial for this position.
  • Experience in the field is considered an asset, though fresh graduates with strong interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Motivated and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Positive mentality with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
