Our client, operating in the telecommunications industry, is looking for a Junior Sales Executive to support business development efforts, engage with prospective clients, and promote innovative solutions. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, lead generation, and client relationship management within a fast-paced and evolving sector.

  • Support and eventually lead presentations to promote the company’s products to both prospective and existing clients.
  • Understand the department’s strategy, direction, and values, and communicate any concerns with the line manager.
  • Assist in researching and organizing lead development pipelines, ensuring key contacts are identified and market trends are tracked.
  • Develop an understanding of prospective clients to recommend suitable products based on their needs.
  • Reach out to potential clients through various channels, including chats, cold calls, and emails.
  • Qualify leads from campaigns and conferences, identifying sales opportunities.
  • Assist in account management and client relationship maintenance, which may include attending sales meetings and addressing client concerns.
  • Support the team with the commercial aspects of the company’s products, including positioning and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to align strategies with client needs and assist in preparing and delivering presentations.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure a seamless and professional sales process.
  • Represent the company at fairs, conferences, and exhibitions, and travel for work as needed.
  • Adhere to communication procedures, guidelines, and company policies.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management as needed.
Requirements
  • Passionate about sales, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and a strong drive for success.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, tactful, and diplomatic in all interactions.
  • Experience in the mobile messaging industry and/or an IT background is considered a plus.
  • Keen interest in staying updated on the latest technology, products, services, and trends in the SMS industry.
Education and Experience
  • Advanced education and/or certification in sales or a related field
  • A minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, including achieving targets, lead generation, cold calling, and/or securing new business sales.
  • Experience in various aspects of the sales process, including identifying opportunities and engaging clients.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to tailor presentations for different audiences.
