Furniture Salesperson

CDI Italian Design Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Furniture Salesperson to join their team on a full-time basis. Candidates must speak fluent Maltese.

Job Summary:
As a Furniture Salesperson, you will be responsible for driving sales of our furniture products and providing excellent customer service to our clients. You will assist customers in selecting the best furniture products that suit their individual needs and budgets, as well as work to build lasting relationships with them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in the selection of furniture products that best meet their needs and budget
• Provide excellent customer service and build lasting relationships with customers
• Communicate effectively with customers, both in person and over the phone, to ensure their needs are met and their questions are answered
• Keep the showroom and sales floor clean and organized, and ensure that products are displayed in an attractive and effective manner
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and handling returns and exchanges
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in furniture design and fashion, as well as product knowledge and pricing
• Meet and exceed sales goals and targets, and participate in promotional events and marketing initiatives to help increase sales
• Maintain accurate records of all sales and customer interactions, and provide regular reports to management
• Collaborate with other members of the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous sales experience, preferably in furniture or home decor
• Candidates must speak fluent Maltese
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other sales software

*We offer a contract plus commission.
