Role Overview
Heroix is partnering with a leading organisation in FinTech sector to recruit a
Client Relationship Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an analytically minded professional who is interested in building a career at the intersection of technology and financial regulation. Following comprehensive product and industry training, the selected candidate will work closely with financial institutions to gather business requirements, configure software solutions, deliver user training, and provide ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Analysis: Engage with clients to understand regulatory and operational needs and translate these into functional system requirements.
  • Solution Configuration: Set up and tailor specialist software applications to meet the reporting and compliance obligations of financial institutions.
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Stay informed about changes in banking and financial regulations and assess how these developments affect software configuration and client requirements.
  • Problem Resolution: Investigate operational issues, identify root causes, and design effective solutions to address client challenges.
  • User Training: Deliver training sessions to end users to ensure successful adoption and effective use of the implemented systems.
  • Post-Implementation Support: Respond to support requests and provide technical and functional assistance following project completion.
  • Product Improvement: Contribute ideas and feedback based on client interactions and market knowledge to support ongoing software enhancement.
  • Pre-Sales Assistance: Participate in product demonstrations and presentations when required to support business development activities.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

  • Education: A tertiary-level qualification in Banking and Finance, Business and Computing, Information Systems, or a related discipline would be considered an asset. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Experience: Previous experience in business analysis, software implementation, financial services, or regulatory reporting would be advantageous, although candidates with strong analytical ability and a genuine interest in FinTech are encouraged to apply.
  • Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese are essential.
  • Communication Skills: Able to explain technical concepts clearly and professionally to clients and end users.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Builds positive working relationships and collaborates effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Technical Skills: Strong data analysis capabilities, including advanced use of Microsoft Excel such as Pivot Tables and Power Pivot.
  • Organisation: Excellent planning and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Self-Motivated: Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to learn and succeed.
  • Problem-Solving: Methodical and detail-oriented, with the ability to analyse complex issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working under pressure and capable of handling both independent assignments and team-based projects.
