Business Unit Manager

Job Description
P.Cutajar & Co Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Business Unit Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. 

THE POSITION:
The Business Manager is the liaison between a particular supplier or group of suppliers and house sales and marketing teams to execute planned strategies and achieve company financial objectives. The Business Manager serves as the in-house expert on a particular portfolio, manages all aspects of the supplier’s business within the house, and provides the critical link between the sales and marketing departments and our Trade Customers to ensure high-end customer service and maintain and grow the company’s leading position in the field.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• WSET Intermediate Level.
• Spoken and written knowledge of Maltese, English, and Italian
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar sales role. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in the Wines & Spirits category.
• Results-oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills; uses diplomacy and discretion.
• A passion for the wines& spirits industry and category
• Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various programs including presentation software. Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint capabilities required.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and accounting skills are required.
• Basic knowledge of the principles of marketing.
• Ability to conduct a product presentation to customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
• A clean driving licence & police conduct.

An attractive remuneration package is being offered to the right candidate made up of a basic salary, sales commissions, and performance bonuses. A fully expensed company vehicle, fuel, and company phone are also included in this package.
