Business Development Officer

GA Tech, a market leader in payment gateway services, is looking to recruit a Business Development Officer to join their team in their offices in Malta.  

Job Role: 
The ideal candidate will assist in the company’s growth by attracting new clients and building long-term relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships. Other duties will include market research, developing business strategies and pitches, and identifying new business opportunities. The successful applicant will be resourceful, organised, and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company's branding, and look for new and creative ways to market our products. A background in sales or marketing is desirable.

Responsibilities:                                                                                                   
The successful candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and partners;
• Prepare professional proposals and communicate with prospective clients;
• Respond to inquiries made by clients about the company’s services in a timely and friendly manner;
• Assist with drafting business proposals, sales pitches, presentations, and other documents as required;
• Cultivate strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships;
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines;
• Work closely with staff across departments and provide support to the company’s business development team to implement growth strategies;
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management and staff remotely.

What you’ll need to have:

• A bachelor’s degree - preferably in business or another related discipline;
• 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience in business development or a similar field;
• Experience in the Financial/Forex/eGaming industry will be considered an advantage;
• Excellent knowledge of the English Language;
• Great interpersonal and organisational skills;
• A can-do attitude and willingness to learn;
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and on own initiative; 
• Problem-solving skills and a contagiously positive attitude.

Remuneration:
An attractive remuneration package will be provided to the successful candidate, depending on experience and qualifications.
