Role Overview
In partnership with our Client, Heroix is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Executive to contribute to the expansion of the Business across the Maltese market. This role is suited to a proactive individual who thrives on building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and driving revenue growth within the ICT sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Proactively source and develop new commercial opportunities, building a strong pipeline to achieve and surpass agreed revenue objectives.
  • Account Management: Oversee and grow an assigned portfolio of clients, strengthening long-term partnerships while identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Work closely with customers to understand their operational needs, presenting tailored ICT solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Internal Coordination: Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and a consistently high standard of customer experience.
  • Supplier Collaboration & Negotiation: Engage with external partners and vendors to secure competitive offerings, while leading negotiations and preparing commercial agreements aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

  • Education: A qualification in Business, IT, or a related field will be considered an asset.
  • Experience: Proven track record in a sales-focused role, ideally involving enterprise-level technology solutions or software offerings.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Confident in presenting ideas clearly and persuasively, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building abilities, with a natural talent for networking and influencing stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with ICT solutions, enterprise systems, or software products, with an interest in staying current with emerging technologies.
  • Organisation: Capable of managing multiple priorities effectively, maintaining structure while working towards targets.
  • Self-Motivated: Driven, ambitious, and results-oriented, with a proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Problem-Solving: Able to think commercially and strategically to overcome challenges and identify practical solutions.

  • Compensation: Top earners have achieved total annual earnings of €120,000 in consecutive years, demonstrating the proven earning capacity of the role. ​​​​​​​€40,000 basic salary, together with a strong uncapped commission scheme. As commissions are uncapped, this figure is not a ceiling. The commission structure, historical earnings, and performance expectations will be explained and evidenced during the interview process.
