Business Development Executive ( Insurance )

Our client a renowned company here in Malta is seeking a Business Development Executive you will report to the Head of Product Management & Technical Support and be assigned duties relating to product management

Responsibilities

• To own the product oversight and governance policy and act as Secretary to the Product Oversight and Governance Committee
•  You will be expected to analyse competition and conduct consumer research and be responsible for the product portfolio management, including the regular review of all products, ensuring regulatory alignment relating to both the product and customer impact.
• The candidate will also actively coordinate and manage initiatives relating to the development of new products, training of intermediaries as well as set the tone and provide briefs for product marketing campaigns.

Requirements

• Have a degree in Insurance or Banking and Finance and/or a minimum of three years experience in a similar post
• Sound knowledge on general insurance principles, practice, regulation & business ethics
• Financial Literacy and knowledge of the claims process
• Be focused on customer service
• You will have an outgoing personality and a positive attitude
• The ability to multi-task;
• Excellent negotiating and presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, Maltese and or Spanish would be considered an asset
• ​Currently living in Malta
