Malta International Airport is currently looking to recruit an ICT Quality Assurance Junior Analyst to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:
Malta International Airport plc is looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about working with people within an Airport environment and is willing to continuously learn, develop, and be part of a high-performance culture. This vacancy has arisen within the Information Technology Department.

Purpose of Position:

The Junior Analyst supports the company’s ICT Management Systems, including the Quality Management System (QMS), Information Security Management System (ISMS), and Service Management System (SMS). This role involves assisting with the development, implementation, and auditing of quality processes and controls in alignment with ISO standards. It is a junior role designed to provide foundational experience in ICT quality assurance, compliance, and process improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Management Systems Support

  • Maintain and update documentation related to QMS, ISMS, and SMS, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 20000, and 27001 standards
  • Assist in developing quality policies, procedures, and work instructions
  • Identify, document, and track key processes, deviations, corrective actions, and process improvement.

Audit Assistance

  • Prepare and coordinate internal and external audits by gathering relevant data, conducting preliminary assessments, and documenting findings
  • Track and follow up on action plans to address identified audit gaps, ensuring compliance and improvement.

 Compliance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor and report on QMS, ISMS, and SMS performance indicators to support improvement initiatives
  • Participate in continuous improvement meetings, preparing reports, summaries, and feedback documentation
  • Conduct root cause analysis and coordinate with stakeholders to implement corrective action plans.

Training & Development Support

  • Coordinate and maintain training programs, including onboarding and refresher training on quality, ICT security, and service management standards
  • Develop and update training materials related to compliance for personnel and outsourcing partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with quality objectives, company standards, customer requirements, and best practices
  • Maintain and update the knowledge base to ensure documentation is current and accessible.


Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or High-Level Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Be reliable, organised, meticulous and prepared to work under pressure
  • Be a team player while still being able to work independently when needed
  • Excellent written and oral communication ability in English
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting & interpersonal skills.
