Senior Project Officer

Our client, a leading European organisation, is on the lookout for a Senior Project Officer who can lead an EU project in Malta.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage project processes within the country, ensuring the delivery of objectives, adherence to budget, and compliance with quality standards.  
• Oversee the work of external experts contracted for specific project tasks.  
• Ensure all financial requirements of the project are respected and monitored.  
• Lead the development of relationships with key stakeholders, fostering engagement to support a structured and collaborative participatory process at the national level.  
• Organize and conduct project events, stakeholder meetings, committees, and communications.  
• Support the development of guidance and training materials.
• Develop and implement research tools such as interview questionnaires, focus groups, and surveys for the data collection phase.  
• Process and present the collected data effectively.  
• Contribute to the design and development of assessments, protocols, and mechanisms for national stakeholders.  
• Assist in drafting analytical reports and other relevant technical documents.  

• At least 4 years of experience working in Project Management.
• Very good and proven managerial, organisational, and teamwork skills.
• Candidate must be already based in Malta.
• Proficiency in both Maltese and English.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Experience working within the healthcare, social care or similar field.

• A University Degree.
