IT Project Manager

The Position:
As an IT Project Manager you will be fully responsible for ensuring that all projects are managed efficiently, meeting budget, quality, and customer satisfaction targets. This role will involve close collaboration with various stakeholders, including the CTO, HOO, Operations Manager, Lead Architects, engineers, clients, suppliers, finance, and the business development team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full project life cycle, ensuring successful delivery from sales to project signoff for multiple projects simultaneously.
• Lead project handover process from Sales to Solution Team.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with Solution Teams and Sales/Account Management.
• Create detailed project work plans outlining tasks, timescales, and milestones.
• Maintain and update project plans to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Support HOO and Architects in identifying project resourcing needs and selecting team members.
• Communicate project expectations and progress to team members, customers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor team project deliverables, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope and resolve issues.
• Escalate issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Identify potential leads during project execution and coordinate with the business development team to create new upselling opportunities.
• Manage day-to-day project operations and coordinate team activities.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members and contractors.
• Apply the company's project management methodology and enforce standards.
• Manage/Coordinate project supplier deliverables, including ordering and delivery.
• Coordinate project closure activities including invoicing.
• Maintain project management system, including time, revenue, and budgets.
• Cultivate relationships that contribute to project success.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing projects from initiation to completion.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, preferably having PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Experience in the IT industry is preferred.
