Production Control Coordinator

Job Description
Medelec Switchgear Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Production Control Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis. The chosen candidate will form part of a dynamic team responsible for the complete process from product design, manufacture, testing, and project management. The selected candidate must be an energetic person, able to work under pressure, and have a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities:

• Create production orders within the ERP system, analyse capacity planning and production schedules to determine material requirements and priorities.
• Order and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands.
• Prepare, distribute and review documentation including material issue lists and job sheets.
• Liaise with Production Supervisors and other departments to assess progress and discuss needed changes to achieve set targets.
• Review change orders and execute them appropriately.
• Prepare production progress reports.
• Review labour and material used for production with those planned and budgeted.

Requirements:

• MQF Level 4 minimum.
• Good reading, speaking, and writing skills in both Maltese and English;
• Strong IT skills and proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Ability to work in a team and be flexible in approach.
• Strong analytical / problem-solving skills.
• Technical background in a related Engineering field and knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset.
