Process Engineer

Our Client, one of the leading companies in Malta, would like to engage a Process Engineer. Reporting to the Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead initiatives for cost reduction and manufacturing excellence, including 6 Sigma projects.
• Enhance process yields and maximise machine uptime.
• Provide assistance in machine overhauls and ensure routine maintenance of all equipment.
• Coordinate directly with the Production Department to schedule and carry out maintenance activities, whether it's breakdown and repair, scheduled, or preventive, in process areas.
• Take the lead in material qualification and facilitate the introduction of new processes and machinery in the manufacturing area.
• Optimise tool designs to enhance productivity and improve yields.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations based on job descriptions to assess competency and knowledge.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 0800hrs - 1700hrs 

• Proven work experience as a process engineer
• Familiarity with state health and safety regulations
• Analytical thinker
• Hold excellent level of written and verbal English

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
