R. A & Sons Manufacturing Ltd is looking to recruit a career-minded and reliable Paint Department Technician for a full-time position based in Gozo, Malta. Preferably with experience in the field if not willing to learn.
We are an ever-expanding enterprise geared towards providing top-quality solutions for the building industry.
Jobs Responsibilities and duties:
- Responsible for the Paint Department operation.
- Ensure that existing quality processes are being implemented and kept. Develop new quality assurance and control processes, where necessary.
- Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies, and procedures
- Have the ability and desire to become efficient with painting techniques, meet company productivity rate, and learn all aspects of the job as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Background in painting/decorating is useful but not essential
- Must have excellent visual skills to see and differentiate paint colours.
- Professionalism and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on own initiative, self-confidence, and willingness to take charge when necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Computer skills.
- Strong English communication skills, including the ability to explain clearly. The Italian language will be considered an asset.
- Preference will be given to those with a background in Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics background.
