Technical Trade Leader (Workshop)

We are currently seeking a Technical Trade Leader to join our Technical Services team in the workshop section. In this role, your main responsibilities will include planning and organizing resources to meet agreed deadlines, delegating tasks to the team, and overseeing various trades within the department. Your goal is to ensure that all assigned jobs are carried out to the highest standards in line with the plans and policies provided by your superiors. Additionally, you'll be expected to provide advice to your superiors in the development of policies, plans, and risk assessments, and report on the performance of your area of responsibility to the management as needed.

The ideal candidate for this role should have strong leadership abilities, as they will be responsible for managing a diverse technical team and handling administrative tasks. They will also need to collaborate with third-party contractors involved in company-wide engineering projects. Previous leadership experience is a valuable asset.

Additionally, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Advanced Technician Diploma (ATD) / Higher National Diploma (HND) or a similar qualification at MQF Level 5 in Electrical Engineering.

• Wireman's Licence A & B.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

• A Diploma in Management is preferred but not mandatory.
