Our client, a small import / distribution company is recruiting for an Operations Manger to join their tight-knit team. Reporting to the director, your duties will include;
Overseeing the day to day operations of the business
Handling duties related to opening and closing of office / warehouse as well as planning and prioritising day to day duties
Delegating and Assigning work to Sales team and Warehouse personnel, ensuring they are up to date with company targets / KPI’s
Ensuring that company procedure and policies are adhered to
Handling back office duties
Drafting and analysing reports related to purchasing, sales and stock in order to be able to carry out forecasting exercises.
Ordering of supplies from existing external suppliers
Taking on In-house marketing tasks such as taking product photos, editing and updating social platforms.
Planning of stands and visual merchandise according to seasons, allocated space, outlet locations, etc
Training of new personnel.
Liaising directly with the Director to implement new strategies and SOPs.
