Our client who specialises in the HORECA industry is looking for a Housekeeping Manager. Your roles and responsibilities will include:
Greet guests and employees in a friendly, attentive, and service-oriented manner
Adhere to standards and regulations, ensuring safe and efficient hotel operations
Conduct daily inspections and quality checks to maintain cleanliness, productivity, efficiency, and guest satisfaction at all
Promote effective communication within housekeeping and laundry teams to ensure clarity and consistency in objectives and
Implement and maintain a key control system for the
Distribute supplies and equipment as needed, and perform regular inventory checks to maintain proper stock
Ensure expenses are managed within budget guidelines
Maintain ongoing communication with department heads regarding the condition of rooms and public spaces
Oversee staffing, training, and budgeting for the department to ensure effective planning and organization
Prepare employee schedules based on business forecasts, payroll budgets, and productivity needs
Act as a problem solver for guest concerns, resolving complaints in a timely and helpful manner
Requirements
Previous experience in executing against operating budgets, with an established history of meeting or exceeding established financial objectives
Ability to meet deadlines, with changing priorities whilst remaining calm under pressure
Demonstrated success in collaborating with diverse organizational functions to accomplish common goals
Reliable and responsible character, with exceptional follow up and attention to detail
Education and Experience
Previous housekeeping department leadership experience, to include successful management of a sizable team and focus on exceptional guest service
