Senior Marketing Manager

Our client is one of the leading companies in Malta.  As they are growing. they would like to engage a Senior Marketing Manager to join their team

The Role

• You will prepare an annual detailed business plan to achieve sales in line with company objectives determined by the annual budget,  You will work closely with the Head of Sales and Marketing, the Financial Controller and Commercial Excellence Manager
• You will develop, together with the Marketing team, all the market campaigns in line with Company’s standards, policies, procedures and budgets 
• Develop an annual detailed Marketing Communication Business Plan in line with the Company Marketing Business Plan
• You will maintain good relationships with all local Media including Editors and Journalists
• Assign and monitor project targets to the respective marketing team members, ensuring that these are achieved in an effective and timely manner in line with Company objectives, business plans and budget allocations
• You will liaise with the Commercial Excellence Manager on all launches and the executions of marketing campaigns
• Plan and manage all media budgets and ensure the most effective choices, competitive prices, best timeframes and the highest quality standards available for the respective Brands
• To guide the Trade Marketing Manager in the development of marketing campaigns ensuring that they are in line with Company and corporate standards, policies, procedures and budgets
• You will coordinate merchandising initiatives and generate weekly and monthly market reports for top management
• You will work closely with Head of Sales, Marketing and Commercial Excellence Manager to identify new market niches and continuously increase the Company’s market share.
• To prepare a detailed marketing expenses budget in line with the annual Company’s Business Plan
• You will be the lead Business Analyst in gathering and analysing data to obtain market and campaign insights to understand and identify consumer and customer trends
• Prepare a Business Plan for online business together and ensure that all targets are being achieved accordingly.
• Ensure that all Company websites and Social Media pages are monitored and updated

• Experience in a similar role is a must
• You will have experience leading a team
• Must be both strategic and operational
• Have a proven track record of reaching targets & objectives
• Must be a good communicator

• A qualification in Marketing will be considered as an asset
