Emmanuel Delicata Winemaker Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Sales Representative to join their team on a full-time basis. Reports to Head of Sales Liaises with Area Sales Managers, the Credit Controller, the Sales Support Clerk, and Delivery Personnel.
Job Role:
“His or her responsibilities include primarily making regular sales calls so as to get sales orders for the company’s entire product portfolio and money collection. He or she will also be involved in occasional promotional and merchandising activities that sometimes occur outside normal working hours.”
As part of his or her duties the sales representative will see to the non-exclusive tasks:
The sales rep will work from Monday to Friday and occasionally on Saturday and visit a designated number of clients according to a predetermined schedule otherwise known as the route.
The sales rep will collect the orders and try to upsell them.
The sales rep will upkeep the clients’ database.
The sales rep will scout for new outlets.
The sales rep is responsible for debt collecting from the clients purchasing on credit terms.
The sales rep will inform the respective clients about the trading terms, such as price changes, discounts, new products, etc.
The sales rep will be responsible for the handling of end-user complaints, known as customer queries.
Carry out merchandising on route and emergency deliveries when they occur.
Assist in occasional events and trade shows and act as an ambassador in the best interest for the company.
Look after and take care of tools and company car.
Requirements:
Fluency in English.
*Remuneration is performance-related and includes the use of a company car and fuel allowance.
