Cavalieri Art Hotel in Malta is looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

Scope, Purpose, and Objective:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the execution of the approved Marketing Plan including coordination of advertising campaigns and public relations activities together with press visits and events. The person holding this position will also be responsible for the management of the website and social media platforms. The Arts Programme will also form an integral part of this role and is expected to be enhanced to its full capacity. Management of the Hotel's databases will also fall within the responsibility of the Marketing Manager's role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
  • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions, and competitor information
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
  • Expand and develop marketing platforms
  • Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
  • Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity and results
  • Manage the marketing budget
  • Deliver marketing activity within the agreed budget
  • Create marketing presentations
  • Liaise with media and advertising
  • Collaborate with the sales department
  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising, and promotional staff and activities
  • Manage brand promotions to drive sales
  • Drive strategy and plan and execute marketing initiatives for new projects, menu changes, special menus, and rebranding campaigns.
  • Manage online restaurant/hotel review platforms and vendors (Trip Advisor, and any other portals)
  • Approve all local print advertising and create all necessary artwork
  • Recommend development and implement in-store marketing materials as appropriate
  • Manage all digital marketing initiatives
  • Manage advertising and partnership development for specific properties
  • Create content for social media platforms
  • Manage advertising and public relations agencies, utilizing them as resources for brand and revenue enhancement programs.
  • Develop and execute customer acquisition and retention marketing programs, web-based, database, and direct-to-consumer marketing.
