Gutenberg Press Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Marketing Executive to join their team on a full-time basis.

We are currently seeking a Marketing Executive to join our Business Development department. We are looking for motivated individuals eager to grow in their careers and become part of our dynamic team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performs administrative duties within the Business Development department as requested by the Head of Business Development.
  • Support the Head of Business Development in organising various marketing projects
  • Research market segments identified by the company and extract the relative information in a format that can be uploaded onto the company's Management Information System (MIS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Regularly update the company's website, CRM, MIS and other marketing tools
  • To grow and expand the company's social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increase presence on existing platforms
  • The ability to proactively generate and develop new markets and businesses
  • Send out to clients marketing documents according to the plan established by the Sales department
  • Compile a marketing document library including images and videos related to the plant operations and company products
  • Execute the marketing activities associated with fairs and promotions in which the company will be participating or attending, as directed by the Head of Business Development
  • Assisting internal company marketing initiatives
  • Making arrangements for client hospitality
  • Assisting in the preparation of presentations
  • Supporting the business development team administratively
  • Perform any other duties related to the role, which may be assigned from time to time, including filling in for members of the Sales team who may be away from the office.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have an ability to learn quickly and will be ready to learn on the job
  • Have excellent knowledge of Microsoft software and will be ready to learn other dedicated software that the company uses for its operations
  • Have excellent communication skills and a flair for customer service
  • Possess good organisational skills
  • Be highly self-motivated
  • Have a good eye for detail
  • Have a flexible approach to work
  • Possess a clean driving license
  • Have good knowledge of social media
  • Diploma level education in marketing, or related field.
