Director of Sales & Marketing(Hospitality)

Our client is one of the leaders in the hospitality and entertainment field.  As they are growing their business, they would like to employ a Director of Sales to join their team

The Role

• You will report directly into the General Manager
• You will direct all sales & marketing activities and communications of the hotel
• Give a lot of focus on creating new business leads and nurture client relationships both existing and new
• Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure that the business preposition is highly competitive and to maximise client satisfaction
• To achieve the hotel’s sales & Marketing Strategy and exceed revenue targets in Rooms, Food and Beverage and all other income generating revenue streams
• Work closely with the Senior Management team to ensure that strategy is acted upon and corrective action taken when needed
• Ensure that all sales & marketing activities are effective and corrective action taken when necessary
• Ensure that all the employees within the hotel are aware of what needs to be achieved/brand promise and the level of service that is required
• You will coordinate the Annual Marketing Plan whilst also ensure that Marketing budgets are agreed between all parties and adhered to
• Create a sales process to ensure that all the sales team reach their targets whilst ensuring excellent customer experience
• To ensure that product offering is exceptional and competitive at all times
• Ensure that Sales & Marketing work hand in hand to achieve established targets

Salary & Benefits vary according to experience

• Have extensive sales and marketing experience in the local hotel industry
• Be a known and respected person in the local hotel/hospitality industry
• Have proven achievements of sales targets in this industry
• Can lead a team successfully
• Be a goal getter and a self starter

• Preferably have qualifications in Sales & Marketing
