Communications Intern

We are looking for a Communications Intern to join our team in Malta as part of Betsson Academy. 3 month internship offers hands-on experience in corporate communications, digital marketing, and social media, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to exciting projects within a fast-paced international environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Communications Intern, you will support our team across multiple areas, including:

Website Content Migration & Management

  • Assisting with the transition to a brand-new website for the entire group.
  • Moving and updating information from the current Betsson Group site to the new one.
  • Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines throughout the migration process.
  • Supporting with SEO performance.
  • Analysing user experience.

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Supporting the creation of social media content, including assisting with production logistics and the creation of artworks.
  • Assisting with the scheduling and publishing of approved posts across various platforms.
  • Providing ideas for the social media content calendar, including strategies to increase engagement and followers.
  • Assisting in the preparation of a Social Media Report to analyse performance and engagement.
  • Developing a TikTok plan, including ideas and content tailored to attract younger audiences.

Internal Communications

  • Assisting with internal communications campaigns on our intranet platform.
  • Drafting and publishing internal updates and announcements.
  • Updating internal corporate spaces on our intranet.
  • Helping in updating our photo bank, ensuring we have high-quality images for backgrounds, interviews, and articles.
  • Providing support with video recording for internal content and corporate messages.
  • Supporting the coordination of internal events and engagement initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For

  • A student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • A strong interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing.
  • Experience or familiarity with Canva, social media scheduling tools, and basic content editing is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when working on website migration and SEO tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and eager-to-learn mindset.
