Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking to recruit a Senior Lawyer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft, and approve a wide range of legal agreements and documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide general legal advice and support across multiple practice areas, including corporate, commercial, employment, and intellectual property law.
  • Conduct legal research on complex and evolving legal issues and consolidate findings into clear, practical legal opinions for clients.
  • Advise clients on a variety of legal matters and support contractual negotiations.
  • Lead and contribute to cross-departmental projects, advising management on legal and regulatory matters as they arise.
  • Supervise, review, and support the work of junior lawyers, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with other service lines within the firm to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified lawyer with a valid warrant to practise under Maltese law.
  • 4–5 years’ experience in a similar legal role, preferably within a professional services or advisory environment.
  • Strong technical legal skills with the ability to apply sound judgement in complex situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A motivated, adaptable team player who is keen to embrace new challenges and contribute to a growing practice.
