Corporate Lawyer

Our client within the banking industry is looking for a Corporate Lawyer to join their team and who will report to the Head of Legal and Compliance

Responsibilities: 

• Advise management on legal implications and risks associated with business decisions.
• The central point of contact for correspondence with clients, notaries, external advisors, regulatory and governmental bodies, and other relevant parties
• Providing the required legal support and assistance
• Assisting and provide assistance concerning the drafting, negotiating, and performance of contracts
• Providing advice and assisting in corporate transactions and restructuring of corporate entities
• Drafting and reviewing contracts in various areas in accordance with the needs of clients
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested

• Previous local experience within a similar role 
• Excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English 

• You must be a qualified lawyer or will be graduating soon
