Junior Associate (Banking and Finance)

Our client in the Legal Field is looking to recruit a Junior Associate to join their Banking and Finance team.   

Responsibilities:

• Offer legal support to senior associates and partners in the banking and finance sector.
• Perform legal research and draft opinions, memos, and briefs.
• Create, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, such as contracts, loan agreements, and securities.
• Aid in due diligence processes and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Interact with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments; engage in team meetings and training activities.

• A minimum of 1 years of local experience in Banking and Finance Law
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Maltese

• Bachelor of Laws
• Warranted Lawyer
