Duties and responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • processing and issuing of credit agreements, letters of waiver and cancellation within the stipulated timeframes, ensuring accuracy and quality;
  • ensuring that the Bank’s hypothecary rights are duly registered;
  • where required, to represent the Bank on public deeds;
  • liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including vetting lawyers and notaries; and
  • setting of appointments, processing of invoices and other duties which may be assigned by the Head of Unit in the interest of the smooth running of the Unit and the Department.

Competencies and experience

The potential candidate should be reliable and trustworthy, well-organised with a disposition to learn and have a team-oriented approach.

You must:

  • have an MQF Level 5 qualification or previous work experience in a credit institution or notarial office;
  • be able to work both as part of a team and independently;
  • demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Maltese;
  • be organised, be able to prioritise, and work under pressure; and
  • possess good Microsoft Office application skills, mainly Excel and Word.
