Job Opportunity: Country Manager

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for driving commercial success? We're searching for a proactive and strategic-minded Country Manager to join our Commercial Department, working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer.

Job Role:

As a Country Manager, you'll be a key player in our team, spearheading the implementation of our commercial strategy. Your role involves driving performance and profitability across designated countries.

Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse the performance of insurance products in designated countries, identifying opportunities for improvement and addressing any performance issues proactively.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with subsidiaries to create new insurance products, ensuring alignment with market needs and obtaining necessary approvals from relevant stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with Commercial and Marketing Managers for reporting, presentations, and project follow-ups, fostering effective communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Implementation of Action Plans: Execute strategic and transversal initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and targets set by top management.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with subsidiaries, local insurance committees, and other key stakeholders.
  • Tool Deployment and Methodology: Deploy and manage tools and methodologies required to support the adopted business strategy, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Yearly Forecast Exercises: Participate in forecasting exercises, and local insurance committees providing insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Prepare materials for monthly rituals.
  • Propose measures and actions to meet project targets, while maximizing quality, efficiency, and reactivity.
  • Assess operational and functional consequences of projects, and ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold internal procedures and compliance standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret complex data.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within a team, while maintaining a high level of performance.
  • Proficiency in English; fluency in French is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
