Compliance Officer

Our client, operating in the insurance industry is looking to recruit a Compliance Officer, to join their team: 

• Monitor and assess the company’s compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Implement and manage the company’s compliance plan.
• Identify, investigate, and mitigate compliance risks.
• Advise management and staff on emerging compliance trends and regulatory changes.
• Develop and deliver compliance training to staff.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory bodies.
• Liaise with external regulators and ensure timely submission of all regulatory filings.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all compliance activities.

• Strong understanding of insurance legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills in English and Maltese.
• uccessful completion of the PQ application process with the MFSA is considered an Asset.

• Proven experience in the insurance industry with exposure to compliance roles.
• MQF Level 6 academic qualification(s) in Compliance, Financial Services Regulations, Law, or a relevant field.
