Underwriting Specialist

An international insurance company with a growing local presence is seeking an Underwriting Specialist to join their team. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to develop alongside the business as it expands both locally and internationally. 

Responsibilities:

• Underwriting home and property insurance policies, ensuring accurate risk assessment and pricing.
• Liaising with brokers and Third-Party Intermediaries (TIIs) to maintain strong relationships and meet clients’ needs.
• Reviewing policy renewals and endorsements, making necessary adjustments based on risk analysis.
• Providing product expertise and support to brokers and clients.
• Managing claims assessments and working closely with the claims department to resolve issues.
• Meeting and exceeding service targets and KPIs while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Maintaining accurate records of all underwriting and claims activity.
• Participating in ongoing training and pursuing CII studies to enhance professional development.

• Candidates must hold an insurance background
