Our well-established client within the insurance industry is seeking to recruit for an Assistant Manager - Corporate & Advisory. The role would report into the the Direct Manager. You will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships with clients/insurance representatives while maintaining excellent communication skills with all stakeholders.

Duties include: 

  • Handle customers’ queries regarding the applicable policies. 
  • Organizing the work to be done by dividing it into manageable activities and accomplish the tasks to be achieved.  
  • Ensure team harmony by listening and communicating with staff at all times. 
  • Ensure fairness and equity with regards to the workload as well as with any leave proposed to the Manager and any remote working proposed. 
  • Developing positive relationships with clients by holding regular meetings with key clients; understanding customer needs; liaising with the Claims Department. 
  • To monitor team renewals and ensure that all renewals are handled and renewed in due time; addressing issues/queries raised by clients during the currency of the policy. 
  • Suggesting/recommending terms best suited for clients' needs to ensure that they have the best coverage and price for their insurance programme. 
  • Liaising with Providers, both local and overseas; assisting the Manager to ensure that the team reviews documentation received from suppliers thoroughly. 
  • Liaising with Compliance Officer in case of complaints. 
  • Leading and/or participating in departmental/interdepartmental committees and/or working/action groups
  • Assist in compiling statistical data for reports as and when required.
  • Assist the team manager in monitoring team debtors and ensuring timely collection. 
  •  Holding the necessary meetings with team members and with direct manager.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive - Europe, Senior Management or the Core Team.

Requirements
  • Experience within the insurance industry is required
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance policies is required for this role
  • Excellent communication skills in English
