Our client is looking for a Senior HR Executive. Your roles and responsibilities will include: 

HR Operations

  • Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
  • Continuously improve HR processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency

Recruitment

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Create engaging job advertisements and manage their posting across various platforms
  • Source, screen, and shortlist candidates, conducting interviews and selection processes
  • Collaborate with recruitment partners and job portals to enhance the talent acquisition process

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
  • Prepare and maintain accurate employee records, including personal files, contracts, probation letters, and work permits
  • Coordinate with external entities such as Jobsplus and Identity Malta to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Compute overtime and commissions, and partner with external agencies for end-of-month payroll processing

Compliance and HR Procedures

  • Ensure HR procedures comply with relevant labor laws, EU directives, and regulations
  • Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring HR practices align with legal requirements
  • Provide guidance and training to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures

Disciplinary Actions and On-Site Issue Resolution

  • Disciplinary Actions: Handle disciplinary procedures, ensuring fairness and compliance with company policies and legal standards
  • On-Site Issue Resolution: Regularly visit retail locations to resolve issues, mediate conflicts, and provide support

Requirements
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Education and Experience
  • Proven experience in the local HR industry or a similar role is a must
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and regulations
