Our client is looking for a Senior HR Executive. Your roles and responsibilities will include:
HR Operations
Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
Continuously improve HR processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency
Recruitment
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
Create engaging job advertisements and manage their posting across various platforms
Source, screen, and shortlist candidates, conducting interviews and selection processes
Collaborate with recruitment partners and job portals to enhance the talent acquisition process
Employee Lifecycle Management
Manage the complete employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
Prepare and maintain accurate employee records, including personal files, contracts, probation letters, and work permits
Coordinate with external entities such as Jobsplus and Identity Malta to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies, procedures, and regulations
Compute overtime and commissions, and partner with external agencies for end-of-month payroll processing
Compliance and HR Procedures
Ensure HR procedures comply with relevant labor laws, EU directives, and regulations
Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring HR practices align with legal requirements
Provide guidance and training to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
Disciplinary Actions and On-Site Issue Resolution
Disciplinary Actions: Handle disciplinary procedures, ensuring fairness and compliance with company policies and legal standards
On-Site Issue Resolution: Regularly visit retail locations to resolve issues, mediate conflicts, and provide support
Requirements
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Education and Experience
Proven experience in the local HR industry or a similar role is a must
Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and regulations
