Job vacancy: Payroll & HR Officer

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Inputting data in payroll software
  • Preparing payroll reports
  • Processing any amendments to payroll
  • Ensuring transfers of payroll are done correctly between various departments
  • Getting approval for payroll variances such as overtime, sick, leave, etc.
  • Preparing monthly wages
  • Handling wage queries
  • Submission of relevant reporting to the inland revenue
  • Supporting the Director of Finance and HR Manager as needed.


The ideal candidate should:

  • Have previous experience in a similar position
  • Have excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Have knowledge of payroll policies and procedures, including local employment legislation
  • Have knowledge of basic accounting principal
  • Be a team player
  • Have previous experience using payroll software, ideally Indigo.
