Within this job of a Payroll Executive the successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Group HR Manager while leading a small team of people ensuring confidentiality on salaries and personal information is respected at all times, while also ensuring the processes followed are efficient and in a systemized fashion.

Main responsibilities are found here under:

  • Issuing of monthly payroll and Payslips for employees through payroll software
  • Ensuring accuracy of payroll records by maintaining the employees’ database
  • Processing and inputting of payroll expenses in the accounting system
  • Keeping up-to-date records on leave entitlements, sick leave and other reports pertaining to employees
  • Checking and inputting of time sheets
  • Preparing Payroll records
  • Proactively work closely with the HR Team and Head of Accounts
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation, policy and agreements, whilst maintaining accurate and complete data at all times
  • Ensuring to keep abreast with local legislation
  • Administration and monitoring of electronic timekeeping system 
  • Generating accurate reports for Management purposes
  • Assist in the most cooperative manner any in-house or third-party Audits and provides any requested documentation in the most efficient manner
  • Endeavour to reach and maintain the HR Department payroll related goals and objectives as directed by the Group Human Resources Manager
  • Prepare reports and analysis pertaining to the payroll function as maybe requested by the Management
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending Payroll related workshops whether online or on-site, reviewing the latest employment regulations publications and establishing personal external networks where necessary for the benefit of the company
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential at all times
  • Any other related duties as may be determined from time to time by the Management, particularly those related to the Human Resources Department
