Centrecom is currently seeking to recruit a Payroll Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be working from Mosta and Luqa, with the possibilty of working Hybrid.
Main Responsibilities:
Compilation, inputting & managing of payroll according to the Client’s requirements.
Compiling and Submission of VAT returns.
Compiling and Submission of Tax returns together with corresponding P&L account.
Computing of Provisional Tax.
Updating employee data including salary changes, tax status changes, engagement/termination dates, bank accounts and any other statutory records.
Liaising with employees and any concerns and ensuring appropriate action is taken;
Compiling statistical reports to be delivered to Management and/or The Client according to such requirements;
Identifying and reporting any irregularities;
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management including any possible assistance with back office general duties (some of which are related to airline revenue accounting);
Ensure accuracy in the work performance and meeting of service level agreements (SLAs) and deadlines;
Support all external and internal audits and reviews, as necessary, including timely resolution of any issues.
Liaise with Back Office Senior Coordinator in implementing new systems/procedures to identify any shortcomings and long-term planning/vision strategy to increase efficiency.
Any other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have at least 1-2 years’ experience in payroll
Good command of English language spoken and written.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, payroll systems and database software.
Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills are mandatory.
