Mechanical Resource Coordinator

Ably Resources Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Resource Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis.

About the Client:
Our clients, who are regarded as building services experts in Malta, require a Mechanical Resource Coordinator to join their growing team. You will oversee the mechanical resource team ensuring that the qualified and correct personnel are available to execute required tasks.

Responsibilities will include:

• Recruit skilled and qualified staff that will contribute towards project and company success
• Organize and coordinate training programs for new staff
• Oversee resource planning and allocation, including that of subcontractors
• Participate in the performance review program
• Assist other managers in performance appraisals
• Ensure employment-related compliance standards and legislation relating to health and safety and employee rights are in place and enforce company policies and practices
• Evaluate the performance of direct reports
• Ensure workplace safety at all times
• Verify time sheets and ensure timely delivery to stakeholders
• Coordinate the preparation and delivery of special equipment and tools
• Conduct stock takes of tools and equipment
• Cooperate with the fleet manager to ensure the company vehicles are well-maintained
• Assist and guide project leaders in preparing and communicating tasks to subordinates
• Continuously provide employees with constructive feedback, including addressing poor performers.

Requirements:

• MQF Level 5 Diploma or MQF Level 4 Certificate in Mechanical subjects would be preferred
• Valid driving licence
• Experience in the same sector and field.
