As a key member of the Xara family, you will play a vital role in ensuring our hotel maintains its reputation as an outstanding place to work and visit and make the journey of our employees a memorable experience

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for hospitality and a proven track record in managing HR functions and payroll operations. 

The keys tasks you will carry out:

  • Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support the hotel’s goals and promote a positive work culture.
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions with professionalism and fairness.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Partner with hotel management to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Facilitate internal communications and promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Manage payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate compensation for all hotel employees and adhere to month end payroll closing schedule.
  • Arrange year-end and other annual statutory reports
  • Liaise with auditors and provide requested documents
  • Reconcile contractors accounts
  • Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and from other departments

Your skills, experience and qualifications:

  • A passion for people and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A minimum of 3 years of HR and payroll management experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll systems (Shireburn and T&A experience desired)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
