A leading company within the FMCG sector are looking to onboard an HR Manager to enhance their HR function. Reporting to the Director, your main responsibilities will include:
HR Function Development:
❖ Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that support the overall business strategy.
❖ Establish and maintain HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
❖ Work closely with the Financial Manager on core company projects.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
❖ Lead the recruitment process, collaborating with hiring managers to attract and retain top talent.
❖ Develop effective onboarding programs to ensure new employees integrate seamlessly into the organization.
❖ Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and resolving employee concerns.
❖ Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and morale.
❖ Design and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and professional development plans.
❖ Guide managers on performance-related issues.
Training and Development:
❖ Identify training needs and collaborate with departments to design and implement training programs.
❖ Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Compliance and Legal:
❖ Stay informed about labour laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
❖ Guide on HR-related legal matters and maintain accurate employee records.
❖ Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
❖ Evaluate and recommend improvements to the overall benefits package.
❖ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
❖ Proven experience in HR management, with a focus on building HR functions from scratch.
❖ Strong understanding of Maltese employment laws and regulations.
❖ Candidates with industry experience or similar will be given preference
❖ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
❖ Friendly, approachable demeanor with the ability to connect with employees at all levels.
