We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Administrator to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources and payroll functions within our organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our employees are paid accurately and on time, and that all HR processes are carried out efficiently and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries and benefits
  • Maintain accurate employee records and update information as needed
  • Handle all employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits
  • Administer and track employee leaves of absence, including FMLA and other statutory leaves
  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, conducting interviews, and completing new hire paperwork
  • Conduct new employee orientations and provide ongoing support and guidance to employees
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programs
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Assist with performance management and employee relations issues as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and processes related to HR and payroll functions

Requirements:

At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with profound knowledge of Indigo Shireburn, time and attendance including payroll system
Strong knowledge of payroll processing and HR best practices
Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
A comprehensive understanding of the Maltese Employment Law
