Head of Human Resources (HR)

Our client is a leading financial institution in Malta, They would like to employ a Head of Human Resources to join their team

The Role

• You will develop and implement HR strategies. You will guide senior management on HR matters
• You will oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding
• You will create retention programs to attract and retain talent
• You will handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters
• You will promote a positive work environment
• Identify training needs and create training programs
• Address regulatory training requirements
• Provide training in line with the comoany's strategic direction
• Coach, manage and mentor staff and your team
• Manage compensation structures, benefits, and incentives
• Oversee the monthly payroll process
• Design and implement performance appraisal systems
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets
• Develop and update HR policies and procedures
• Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations
  

• A degree in HR Management will be considered as a strong asset
• You will have extensive experience in HR Management at Senior Management level
• Have good knowledge of labor laws
• Be assertive yet approachable
• Have proven, strong, management skills
• Have a passion for Human Resources
