Head of Human Resources(HR)

Our client is a large, diverse group of companies who operates in Malta and includes construction, marine and retail.  They would like to employ a Head of Human Resources to join their team

The Role

• You will lead a team of Human Resources professionals
• You will develop the HR strategy and ensure implementation
• Handle and manage the whole of the HR function including but not limited to Talent Acquision, Performance, Policies and Procedures, disciplinaries, employee relations and compensation 
• Develop and implement employee engagement programmes
• Handle the departmental budget and ensure that the department is always on track
• Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations both legal and internally
• Coordinate all the necessary training for the company whilst also delivering where necessary
• Handle HR Audits and ensure that findings are rectified
• Ensure that the HR system is always well speced and meets the necessary requirements 
• You will be part of the senior management team and will sit on a number of committees

• You will have at least 5 years experience at a Senior Management level in an HR function
• Have great communication skills
• Must have led a team
• Be prepared to work in a busy environment

• Preferably have tertiary experience in Human Resources
