About KYD Collective Limited: KYD Collective Limited operates in Malta’s catering and hospitality industry, with a growing portfolio of distinctive venues known for delivering vibrant dining experiences. Our group currently manages four operating establishments, including the newly opened O’Sole Rooftop in Valletta (February 1st, 2026). We are now expanding our O’Sole concept to INNSiDE by Meliá St. Paul’s Bay, introducing a rooftop experience and a complementary restaurant within the same hotel. Together, these venues will offer breakfast, poolside bites, lunch, aperitivo, dinner, and late-night cocktails — all under one cohesive vision of quality, energy, and service.

Overview:We are seeking experienced and confi dent Shift Managers to join our new O’Sole team at INNSiDE by Meliá. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for leading daily front-of-house operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth service, happy guests, and a motivated team. Shift Managers will act as the on-duty leaders, coordinating staff, overseeing service standards, managing reservations and fl oor fl ow, and responding quickly to operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day service during assigned shifts across both our venues. 
  • Lead and support F&B service, bar, and host teams to deliver seamless guest experiences. 
  • Manage table allocations, booking coordination, and guest fl ow during peak periods. 
  • Supervise opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reports. 
  • Ensure all staff adhere to service standards and operational policies. 
  • Maintain strong communication with kitchen and bar teams for coordinated service. 
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and promptly. 
  • Support staff training, development, and motivation on the fl oor. 
  • Assist Operations Manager with stock checks, scheduling, and administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a restaurant, bar, or hotel.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team. 
  • Excellent customer service focus and problem-solving mindset. 
  • Good knowledge of restaurant operations, POS systems, and booking platforms. 
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to stay composed and organized in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Fluent in English.
