Restaurant Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead one of its renowned restaurant venues located in St Julian’s and Sliema. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily restaurant operations, ensuring outstanding guest experiences, leading the front-of-house team, and maintaining the highest service standards in line with the restaurant’s reputation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Lead, motivate, and supervise the front-of-house team
• Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction at all times
• Manage staff schedules, training, and performance
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers when necessary
• Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues professionally
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Work closely with kitchen and management teams to maintain operational excellence
• Support the achievement of sales targets and business objectives

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Restaurant Manager or similar hospitality leadership role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English; Italian or Maltese will be considered an asset
• Passion for hospitality and high-quality dining experiences
• Currently residing in Malta is preferred
