Doubletree by Hilton Malta is currently looking to recruit a Restaurant Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

Are you ready to lead an exciting new venture and create exceptional experiences for our guests? 

DoubleTree by Hilton Malta is looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing, and dynamic individual to manage our restaurant, cocktail bar, and adults-only pool area as part of our new opening ‘SABI’

As the manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring a smooth and exceptional guest experience, and leading a team to deliver outstanding service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Guest Experience Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for guests in the restaurant, bar, and pool area
  • Interact with guests in an engaging, friendly, and approachable manner, creating memorable experiences
  • Proactively anticipate guest needs, exceed expectations, and ensure satisfaction at all times.

2. Restaurant & Bar Operations

  • Manage daily operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service across all areas
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and functionality to the highest standards
  • Lead, train, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment
  • Design and execute a creative, diverse cocktail menu that delights and impresses guests
  • Develop and maintain a compelling wine list to complement the restaurant’s offerings.

3. Private Events & Banqueting

  • Oversee private events, transforming the restaurant into an elegant banqueting venue for special occasions
  • Coordinate with the Executive Chef and events team to ensure seamless service and memorable experiences
  • Manage all event details, from preparation to execution and breakdown, with precision and care.

4. Staff Management & Training

  • Lead and manage a team of servers, bartenders, and pool attendants, fostering a positive and productive environment
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance service standards, cocktail skills, wine knowledge, and safety practices
  • Schedule staff, monitor performance, and address personnel matters with professionalism and tact.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a leader with a passion for excellence, creativity, and guest satisfaction. Ideal candidates will bring:

  • Strong knowledge of bar operations, including cocktail creation, wine pairing, and inventory management
  • Experience managing private events and adapting venues for banqueting services
  • A warm, approachable personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work well under pressure, especially during peak service times and events
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
  • Leadership experience with a talent for motivating and developing a team
  • Impeccable organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • A deep passion for creating memorable guest experiences and achieving service excellence.
