Job Description
Ta’ Celita Sunny Bar & Restaurant in Malta is a family-run restaurant and they are looking to recruit a Kitchen Helper to be engaged on a full-time/part-time basis.

Job Role:
This post calls for a reliable individual who works on their own initiative and will be able to work under pressure. The individual is to be able to demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work as part of a very young team. The ideal candidate must have an outstanding friendly personality with a definite 'can do' attitude, excellent attention to detail, quality and a passion for food. The employee is also expected to perform any duties as per operations requirements as instructed by the restaurant’s Chef or Management

Requirements:

• Have basic knowledge of cooking skills which are to include knife handling, chopping, and a good basic knowledge of HACCP criteria
• To be customer orientated
• Good knowledge of the English language. The new family member should ideally have a good command of the Maltese language
• Previous experience in a similar position with a reputable restaurant will be considered as an asset
• Have a valid Food Handling Certificate
• Be willing to work different shifts and weekends and be in possession of your own transportation
• Be residing in Malta
• Possess a valid work permit to work in Malta and a clean police conduct
• The candidate must already be living in Malta.

*Mgarr is probably one of the nicest places in Malta and the new family member should have their own means of transportation.
