Meliá Hotels International in Malta is looking to recruit a Housekeeping Attendant who will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment according to the set standards, in order to provide guests with an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains the overall cleanliness of rooms and public areas by cleaning thoroughly as specified in the departmental SOPs.
- Maximises job efficiency by maintaining supplies and working equipment as instructed and by adhering to SOPs and training.
- Wear safety protection equipment as provided in line with the department regulations and any local legislative requirements.
- Maintain the upkeep of uniform and provided tools given.
- Monitor and control supplies, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.
- Respond to complaints, and special requests and take action to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Performs other cleaning duties as required.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate must have 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in the field or in the hospitality industry.
- Must be customer service driven and detail-oriented.
- Must be a team player and have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
