Position Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to providing an exceptional experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards and procedures.
  • Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
  • Clean and maintain public areas, corridors, and back-of-house areas as required.
  • Ensure all rooms are prepared and presented to the highest standards before guest arrivals.
  • Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or lost property to the relevant departments.
  • Handle cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
  • Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
  • Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as required.
  • Work closely with the Housekeeping team and other departments to ensure excellent guest satisfaction.

Requirements

Residing in Malta

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality is considered an advantage.
  • Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
