Chef de Partie

We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef de Partie, you will take ownership of your section, delivering consistently high-quality dishes and supporting junior team members to achieve excellence. Your strong culinary skills, eye for detail, and ability to lead by example will ensure smooth service and an outstanding guest experience.

What will you do?

• Prepare and present high-quality, consistent dishes within your designated section;
• Ensure all food preparation and presentation meets company standards and quality requirements;
• Oversee mise en place to ensure readiness for service and menu requirements;
• Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff, maintaining proper procedures and professionalism;
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas, ensuring compliance with HACCP and hygiene regulations;
• Monitor and assist in controlling food costs and improving gross profit margins;
• Report any maintenance, safety, or hygiene concerns promptly;
• Support sustainability and environmentally friendly practices within the kitchen;
• Comply with all security, health & safety, and food safety standards;
• Perform additional duties and cleaning tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional, high-paced kitchen;
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Professional Cookery;
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen operation;
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills;
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail;
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal abilities;
• A proactive, flexible approach and commitment to culinary innovation.
