Job Description
The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for ensuring efficient daily operations, exceptional guest experiences, and a motivated, high-performing team. This role focuses on managing service standards, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
The Employee shall perform such duties as normally attached to her position, which include but are not limited to, the following:
- Overseeing the preparation and service of breakfast and snacks to ensure timeliness and quality.
- Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety standards.
- Monitor and address any operational issues during service.
- Create and manage daily staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and keeping in line with forecasted budgets.
- Train, motivate and supervise team members for optimal performance.
- Conduct daily briefings to communicate daily responsibilities.
- Supervise the incoming of goods process, including checking deliveries against purchase orders and ensuring proper storage.
- Monitor inventory levels according to seasonality.
- Minimize waste and ensure cost effective use of resources.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory and staffing schedules.
- Collaborating with the management team to improve and streamline processes.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Regularly inspecting workstations and service areas to uphold standards.
- Any other tasks commensurate with the role.
